DESCRIPTION

Dean guitars was started decades ago by luthier Dean B. Zelinsky, who sold the company and later went on to form DBZ Guitars. (He sold that company to Diamond Guitars and has since formed Dean B.Zelinsky Guitars.) Anyway, this man has been an innovator when it comes to guitar concept and design, and DBZ Guitars are no exception to his reputation. I bought this guitar new a few years ago and gigged it maybe three times total. It got some play here and there, but I have since moved on to 7-string guitars and, thus, I am thinning my herd of 6-strings. This beauty is in excellent shape with no significant signs of wear. As pointy as the headstock is, there are no chips of any kind. The body is blemish-free, too. The stock pickups in this thing sound really nice, so much so that I never felt the need to switch them out with another set. I am including a DBZ gig bag with the sale, which is also in excellent condition with the exception of one of the zipper tabs being snapped off. The bag is still fully functional, and the zipper mechanism, itself, works totally fine. This guitar would make for a triumphant Christmas gift, and the red matches Santa's outfit!
